Program Outline

By using real-world examples and applied scenarios, this experiential Certificate in Innovation in Healthcare Management enables participants to be more informed catalysts of valuable innovation. This ground-breaking healthcare innovation program was co-developed by the Associate Dean of Innovation for the world’s top-ranked global management program and focuses on addressing current healthcare issues and real-world applicability of learning content. Dr. Tom Hunsaker

Dr. Hunsaker is Associate Dean of Innovation for the world’s top-ranked global management program and Thunderbird School of Global Management. He is a multiple recipient of the Distinguished Teaching Award. As Lead of Thunderbird Applied Learning, he has been delivering engagements that involve team-based, client-facing, project-driven consulting experiences in over 30 countries on five continents. Dr. Hunsaker has influenced innovation strategy at prominent firms from the Fortune 500 companies to emerging startups.

Dr. Gary Gibbons

Dr. Gibbons is a clinical associate professor at Thunderbird School of Global Management. He is an expert in entrepreneurial and corporate finance. He has managed portfolios with healthcare-related investments, has been engaged to raise capital, and to value and make capital allocations for companies in the healthcare space. He has also done financial modeling and planning for healthcare related firms. Dr. Gibbons is a member of the Advisory Board for the Journal of Private Equity. He has a diverse range of experience in teaching both global finance and global entrepreneurship. He is a member of several academic honor societies and other professional societies and organizations. He received his PhD from the Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Business at the Claremont Graduate University.
